Join us on a Whale Watching Tour in Alta Fjord and experience Northern Norway's most majestic creatures up close. A winter tour in Alta Fjord can be a magical experience. Yes, it can be cold, but it may be worth it for the chance to spot whales.

Recently, whales have been appearing in Alta Fjord. They have migrated further north, giving us the opportunity to observe them in our area. The two most common species in Alta Fjord are sperm whales and orcas, but there are also good chances of seeing porpoises and hourglass dolphins. You'll be amazed by the playful and curious behavior of the youngest whales.

Note: We cannot guarantee we find whales or if the weather is optimal to spot whales for each tour.

The tour starts at Fiskerihavna (harbor) in Alta. You must arrive 15 minutes before departure. At the meeting point, you will be provided with warm coveralls and life jackets. Once everyone is ready, you will walk with the captain to the boat.

We place great emphasis on safety and never go on a tour if there is any risk that we cannot guarantee the safety of our guests. We offer flexible options such as postponing the tour to the next day, switching to a different experience, or refunding the tour.

Prices:
