The fishing tour is suitable for both those with experience in fishing and those who don't have much experience but still want to give it a try. You will receive guidance from the captain on board and leave with a better understanding than before you set out. You will also receive instruction on the proper use of fishing equipment.

The weather in Alta can vary from day to day, but this is part of the charm of Finnmark. The fishermen here in the north have learned over the years what is suitable for the fjord, and we recommend our customers to follow the same experiences.

WEAR CLOTHING
- Thermal underwear as the first layer.
- Fleece jacket, wool sweater, or other intermediate layer.
- Headgear and gloves.
- Boots or other insulated shoes.

You can borrow warm coveralls, boots, wool socks, gloves, and headgear.

- You can order food and drinks on shorter tours for an additional cost

The boat is easily accessible by the E6 in Fiskerihavna (harbor) beyond Urnesbukta. Follow the E6 through Bossekop to the center down to the bay. Turn in at Europris, follow the road until you reach the boat harbor at Urnesbukta. If you're coming from the north on the E6, drive through Rafsbotn over Altabrua. Continue past the airport to Europris and follow the same route as described above.
